Quinoa micropellets are compacted extruded pellets ideal for creating puffed cakes and popped chips, offering a crispy snack option not fried with reduced fat and calorie contents. Quinoa micropellets are made from whole quinoa grains sustainably grown in the Andean highlands of Peru.
Contains
Contains up to 15% complete plant-based protein with all essential amino acids in an ideal balance. It is high in lysine an amino acid that is low in other grains. Natural source of dietary fiber, B-group vitamins, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus. It is suitable for all ages.
Uses
Micropellets are perfect for air popping technology that uses heat and pressure instead of deep frying to produce popped chips and puffed cakes.
