Our Sustainability Pillars:

• Environmental Conservation:

Sustainable farming practices: We encourage techniques such as agroforestry, crop rotation, and organic farming to minimize negative environmental impacts like deforestation, soil erosion, and chemical pollution.

Biodiversity preservation: We protect native habitats and promote the cultivation of diverse crop varieties to help maintain ecosystem balance and supports the survival of endemic species.

• Social Equity:

Fair trade and equitable partnerships: We ensure that our small producers receive fair market prices for their products, are protected by safety net prices and are treated ethically.

• Economic Viability:

Market access and value addition: We facilitate access to domestic and international markets by participating in trade shows around the world, promote value-added processing by investing in state-of-the-art equipment, and support the development of high-value superfood-based ingredients that command premium prices.

• Certification and Standards:

Organic certification: We certified our superfoods as organic ensuring they are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms, complying with strict environmental and health standards and aligning with consumer demand for healthier and environmentally friendly products.

Food safety certifications: Our processing plant is BRC, HACCP, GMP, Organic, Kosher and Halal certified demonstrating our commitment to quality and safety standards.

Sustainability standard: We are members of UEBT since 2014. UEBT is a non-profit association that promotes sourcing with respect. This membership demonstrates our commitment to sustainable practices and ethical principles.

• Research and Innovation:

Investing in research and development: We are passionate about superfood-based ingredients. We are proactive seekers of new ideas on how to expand our ingredient portfolio, improve our processes and technologies and understand better our ingredients and their efficacy. • Education and Capacity Building:

Farmer training and extension services: We provide our small producers with access to training programs and technical assistance to enhance their skills and improve farming practices.

Consumer awareness and education: We educate consumers about how their purchasing decisions impact the environment like ecological benefits of organic farming practices used in the cultivation of Peruvian superfoods, such as reduced chemical usage, soil conservation, and biodiversity preservation. Also, about the social aspects of superfood production, such as fair-trade practices.
